As a healer of any kind, the most important thing you can do when working with people, is learn to get out of your own way.

Connect to source, let the energy flow through you and the energy just knows what to do.

This means getting out of your head and not making the experience all about you.

Since I started hosting group sound baths, I have found this to be challenging at times. When you host group events, naturally you want everyone to have the best experience they can. So, you worry about people not enjoying it.

People walking out!!

There is stress around parking

Getting set up in time.

People being late!!!

But what I have learnt is that when I can create a healing space for people where its not at all about me. Completely let go of any attachment to what people are experiencing. And truly get out of my own way.

Absolutely magical experiences take place for everyone that attends

Time fly’s by.

An hour feels like 5 minutes. For me and everyone attending. Working with the alchemy crystal bowls requires presence. I have to be completely present during the experience so that I listen to the sounds of the bowls. So I can tune in to communicate with the bowls. And understand what bowls want to work with the energies present in the room. When I am completely present but totally immersed in listening to the bowls and playing them how they would like, I get out of my own way.

I open up to source and allow the crystal bowls to do the work that they want to do.

I allow the energy to flow through me

Instead of obstructing it with my own beliefs, worries and uncertainties.

Its been such an incredibly healing and transformative experience for me to host these events.

Each one is different.

The energy is different everywhere we go.

The bowls play differently in each place to shift the energy of the people and the area.

And the truth is, you’re never going to be loved by everyone.

There will always be someone who didn’t like it or wants to complain about something.

So, the faster you can heal the insecurities that these types of people trigger within you, the easier it becomes to create a healing space that people can really relax and respond to. The more profound and transformative the experience is for everyone, including me, the host.

As a healer, you truly start to provide a safe space for people to open up and heal within themselves.
